You should be Brushing and Combing 3/4times per week
and not just the top of coat, deep down pulling up the hair and brushing downward in a curve motion

preventing from getting matted is very important or your dog will eventually get skin issues

goto www.4Doodles.com our amazon store has recommended brush (really great brush that cuts grooming time in half)
as well as combs etc
Hope this helps

Could brushing and raking with also a slicker brush a couple of times a week be too much for an Aussie Doodle and make come of the hair come out periodically on the floor?

Hi Sara
Thanks for your comment let me try to address them here

First off, any drug you put in a dog’s body should be done with great consideration, especially Heartworm preventative.
It’s a poison anyway you look at it to kill the heart worms.

I am actually looking into some all natural products that are said to do the same job without having to use any of these poisons.
Interceptor is the safest thus far. It’s been used for years with herding dogs with no adverse effects
that I have seen or found in my research thus far.
If you have, please feel free to share them with me, you have my email address.

Oh yes, veterinarians do recommend a lot of things that they get compensated for, for instance, Science Diet.
I’m sure you will agree if you have done any research on foods at all that is food is not one of the best foods on the market, far from it.

What I want for my puppy owners is for them to think, ask questions and find themselves a veterinarian that cares more
about doing the right thing for his patients than he does for his pocketbook.
I love my veterinarian and I guess I should say that more, but it has been my experience that she is more of the exception.

I do promote Life Abundance and Nuvet and I am very proud to do so.
I am very open about that! I have been using these products for many years and have been extremely happy with the results, and the company support is outstanding.
Dr Jane Bicks, a well respected holistic vet who is the one that formulates Lifes Abundance, has open calls every other week.
Anyone can call the company and they openly give answers with no run around.

Most dog food companies will reformulate their food without ever giving the general public knowledge that they do so
and then people are wondering why their dog’s digestion is off kilter. It’s because of the ingredient changes.

I am recommending food and supplements that actually do what they claim to do!

These dogs are my family and I want the best for them, just as you do for your own.
I can call anytime and get answers immediately without a run around from some corporation.

I have seen the value of these products first hand!
Numerous breeders recommend these products, not just because they are compensated for them, but because they are the BEST to use.
I would recommend and use them, compensated or not!

I do not promote things that I believe do not work or would harm any of my pets or others.
I promote these products after years of research and myself being affected by pet food recalls from a supposedly 5 star food.
I now have piece of mind, just like I want all my clients to have as well.

Hope this answers your concerns/questions.
Blessings,
Nancy
